New CEO appointed
Leading Australian Construction Infrastructure and Assets consulting firm, MBM announced the internal appointment of David Pearson as its new CEO, effective from 1 July 2017.
David Pearson has been a key member of MBM’s leadership team since 2004 and will take over from Founding Director, David Madden, who has led the firm since its inception 15 years ago. David Pearson has over 25 years’ experience advising clients on the procurement and management of their built assets. Prior to joining MBM, David worked in Sydney, Canberra, London and Washington DC for Ernst & Young and the UK government as an asset manager in central London. His work at MBM has been leading a team in consulting on private and public sector partnerships.
Announcing David’s appointment, Paul Janes, MBM Chairman said, “David is an exceptional leader and has been working in the growth of MBM’s Advisory practice. David was chosen in a competitive selection process and is an impressive talent known for his collaborative leadership style. I look forward to continuing to work with him. “
Founding Director, David Madden, will be staying with MBM in its national Quantity Surveying division leading specialised projects and taking on a greater mentoring and training role. David Madden said, “David Pearson is very talented and a good friend and I am personally delighted to be handing over the reins to him. MBM is celebrating 15 years this year and it is an exciting time as MBM delivers on its expansion strategy across other sectors including Infrastructure and Advisory.”
