Continuing MBM’s proud tradition of supporting the PWI’s Annual Golf Day held at Bankstown Golf Club on Friday 9 March 2018.
The Permanent Way Institution (PWI) was founded in 1884 and established in NSW in 1974 and focuses on track design, construction and maintenance and most importantly safety of rail travel. Perfect weather conditions attracted more than 100 keen golfers for an 18-hole Ambrose event. Our MBM Infrastructure and advisory specialist team included Justin Noakes, Jason Tagg and Ryan Hummer.
Justin Noakes, Executive Project Advisor commented that the early 6am start was made bearable by the “bacon and egg rolls for breakfast and of course, the spectacular scenery of the manicured fairways that drift through groves of eucalypts and native bushland on the championship course. ”
Although the MBM team will not be giving up their day jobs for a golfing career- Jason Tagg, Executive Quantity Surveyor won the B Grade longest drive on the 18th hole.
Mike O’Shea, Associate Director (and member of golf day committee) said, “Another successful day, particularly as the weather gods were smiling on us on the day – no rain, some cloud and not too hot or humid.”
