Andrew Butler

Andrew has 19 years of private practice experience in South Africa, providing services to both private and public-sector clients and building contractors.

He relocated early in 2019 and took up the post of Executive Quantity Surveyor with MBM Brisbane. Specific experience relates quantity surveying services from inception and cost planning stages, measurement and preparation of procurement documentation, contract administration and close out.

Experience encompasses food and beverage industrial works, new and refurbishment/recycling of commercial industrial and residential buildings, building, fit-out and infrastructure related to retail developments, multi-story apartment buildings, commercial/residential mixed-use developments, office park development/re-development and residential estate developments including infrastructure, roads and services. Recent experience includes the workplace fitouts for commercial tenants, new and refurbished school and university projects, renovation and new civic library projects, medical facilities and public infrastructure projects.
