MBM were asked to provided QS services for the refurbishment of three levels (Levels 8, 9 & 11) for Gartner (previously CEB) at 77 King St. Sydney.
In order to keep to the budget, MBM provided Value Management advice which saw ceilings and partitions retained where they did not impact on the design intent. Subsequently, the scope consisted of minor demolition, partition and ceiling works. It also included for the construction of operable walls to meeting rooms, new joinery, furniture, workstations, carpet as well as Services (Elec, Mech, etc.) upgrades to suit the new layout. Graphite Projects undertook the works under an ECI/Construction Management Contract.
