As an Associate in MBM’s Advisory division, Scott leads projects across multiple sectors, providing advice to clients based on his broad expertise in strategic asset management and facilities management.
Scott’s professional career encompasses more than 25 years’ experience in the asset management, facilities management, and IT service industries. Scotts experience includes 12 years working in the technical services division within the Department of Defence before joining MBM in 2012. During his time in Defence, Scott was employed for 8 years in the capacity of General Manager of Technical Services.
Scott guides the delivery of strategic asset management and facilities management outcomes, with scope of his projects covering both the public and private sectors with a focus on social infrastructure and Public Private Partnerships (PPPs). He advises on asset management strategy and planning, service delivery and contracting strategy, strategic sourcing and procurement including tender processes and contract management more generally, and PPP technical advisory.
Scott possesses essential knowledge and skills to operate at both the strategic and operational level. Leveraging the breadth and depth of his experience and the lessons learnt over 25 years of engagement, he navigates challenges to develop fit-for-purpose solutions for asset portfolios – whether small scale and simple, or larger, geographically distributed portfolios with complex management needs.
Scott’s ongoing professional development includes a Diploma in IT Support, a Graduate Certificate in Management, and a Master of Property and Development. He is currently undertaking a Master of Laws and is a member of the Facilities Management Association (FMA).
