Merriman & Weilmoringle Stations

MBM was engaged by the Indigenous Land and Sea Corporation to conduct comprehensive facilities condition and asbestos assessments across Merriman and Weilmoringle Stations in New South Wales.

Led by Executive Building Consultant Lewis Wilkinson, the project aimed to ensure the long-term usability of these vital cattle stations by implementing asset management plans designed to extend asset life and support sustainable operations.

MBM’s Building Consultancy team delivered detailed assessments in collaboration with an environmental scientist. Lewis leveraged his expertise for the identification of critical maintenance priorities and developed actionable strategies tailored to the unique site challenges. The thorough evaluation balanced compliance with safety standards, and provided a framework for preserving the stations’ functionality and heritage value.
