The new Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) will provide world class health care and facilities for South Australians.
This innovative hospital will harness the latest in architectural design to create a healing environment for patients and their families, provide an efficient and positive working environment for staff, all while minimising the building’s environmental footprint. The new RAH will remain a major teaching hospital and will be located next to the new South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI), in the heart of the South Australian Health and Biomedical Precinct, along with the two multi-storey research and training facilities for the University of Adelaide and University of South Australia.

The development of new service delivery methods including advanced logistics solutions using robotics, advanced IT solutions through the Integration Engine and Helpdesk system providing automated messaging between clinical and non-clinical systems, MBM advised on the commercial arrangements for energy savings and implementation of co-generation and renewable energy sources, implementation of a new workforce model using Patient Support Service Assistants to provide non clinical functions and allow nurses to focus on delivery of clinical care.
