Due to continuous growth, we are seeking a highly organized and skilled IT Administrator to provide IT support to our Sydney and other national offices. As an IT Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all IT requests are prioritized and completed within the designated deadlines. If you have a strong knowledge of Microsoft programs, along with a wide range of IT skills, we want to hear from you!
Administrative requests may include, but are not limited to:
- Report directly to the National Operations Manager, providing regular updates on day-to-day IT activities, projects, and initiatives.
- Set up new employees with the required hardware, software and profiles, and provide them with necessary assistance during their induction process.
- Address all IT issues on-site, reviewing the log of service requests for efficient problem resolution.
- Participate in regular meetings with our external IT support company to discuss ongoing support and service requirements.
- Procure approved hardware and software licenses following established procurement procedures.
- Track and manage inventory by keeping an up-to-date hardware spreadsheet.
- Coordinate the Information Security Management System (ISMS) for MBM, ensuring scheduled activities are completed and relevant documents are up to date. Communicate any ISMS updates to the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Committee.
- Maintain and update the MBM website as needed.
- Manage the audio-visual system for meeting rooms, ensuring smooth operation during important presentations and discussions.
- Demonstrate a willingness to receive training on third-party software used by MBM.
- Collaborate closely with the National Operations Manager on various IT projects, providing valuable support.
- Work closely with the Administration team to ensure seamless day-to-day office operations.
- Assist with answering telephone calls and greeting clients when required.
- Offer support to all areas of the business, providing administrative assistance whenever required.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- At least 2 years’ experience in a corporate office is required
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs
- Technical expertise in the wide range of IT skills, including hardware, software, applications and support
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Understanding of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) is advantageous
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
