With significant growth in recent years, MBM are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Sydney team as we continue to build our sales and digital marketing channels nationally. The position reports directly to the Client Relationship and Business Development Manager and will work with the Hub Leaders to prepare and implement strategies for MBM. The role allows you to engage with the property & construction industry, build strong and enduring client relations and promote MBM through marketing across different platforms.

The role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Updating and maintaining website, intranet and other company branded social media
  • Preparing social media strategies
  • Creating and maintaining marketing collateral including but not limited to, brochures, capability statements, fee proposals, business cards and reports, in Indesign and in collaboration with the senior graphic designer
  • Coordinate external and internal events including researching suppliers and compiling guest lists
  • Supporting the business in relevant awards submissions
  • Assisting in booking training, seminars, and events for technical staff
  • Co-ordinating marketing campaigns
  • Assisting with the creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans
  • Preparing monthly newsletters
  • Manage and regularly update client database
  • As required, attending a diverse range of fun networking events representing MBM

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Marketing or communications degree, and 1-2 years’ experience in a similar marketing role, preferably in a professional services company. Recent university graduates will also be considered
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely organised
  • Experience working to tight deadlines for multiple staff members
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Suite, specifically InDesign
  • Experience working with LinkedIn
  • Able to work autonomously, and as part of a team
  • An interest in learning about business development is a bonus
