Bega Police Station

MBM provided a variety of cost management services during pre and post contract stages on the new build Bega Police Station project.

The new station was built on a recently acquired site and completed construction in 2023. With the site undergoing redevelopment, the project provided a modern medium-sized regional station. The project centred on improved conditions, functionality, and capacity to support the provision of long-term police service to the Bega population.

The new station will consist of public areas, local area command, general duties, duty rooms, HWP duty room, a Crime Management Unit, Prosecutors, Court Process Officer and proactive team space, custody area, Detectives’ office space, task form room, forensics, general amenities, and external vehicle areas.

MBM provided extensive quantity surveying services including cost planning, procurement advice, tender analysis, progress valuations, review of contractor variations, and benchmarking.
