MBM was engaged by Architectus Conrad Gargett, a leading design practice, to provide specialist quantity surveying and building consultancy services for the revitalisation of the historic Ipswich Art Gallery.

MBM’s expert team, led by Associate Director Reiss Draper and Executive Building Consultant Lewis Wilkinson, played a crucial role in the project by delivering a comprehensive Building Condition Report. This report supported the strategic planning and execution of cyclical maintenance and repair works, ensuring the gallery’s long-term preservation and functionality.

In addition to cost planning and estimating, MBM provided specialised services such as damp assessment, diagnosis, and the development of a detailed scope of works for repairs. These services were integral in maintaining the gallery’s structural integrity while preserving its historical significance.
