Werribee Open Range Zoo Expansion

MBM provided cost management guidance to Development Victoria on the extensive expansion of the Werribee Open Range Zoo.

MBM has been providing extensive quantity surveying services throughout the project which includes the construction of new exhibits, an elephant trail covering a 21-hectare open range habitat featuring a central yard with sandpit and water holes, breeding facilities, a pedestrian walking trail, and viewing areas for visitors. The expansion prioritises animal welfare and spotlights the not-for-profit wildlife reserve as a cultural hub in Melbourne’s western suburbs.

As the lead cost consultant, our team provided full cost planning services including post contract document control, progress claim assessments, variation and provisional sum assessments and negotiations.
