Due to continued growth, we are seeking Quantity Surveyors / Senior Quantity Surveyors to join our Sydney team. The successful applicants will assist in the delivery of services within an established team, with supervision from Management.

The successful applicants will possess a minimum of 3-5 years’ local experience in a Quantity Surveying role and have the ability to use Cost X. You will be a team player, have effective organisational and communication skills, the ability to meet deadlines, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Candidates must have Australian Working Rights

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality quantity surveying services.
  • Cost Management: Manage cost planning, cost estimation, and cost management for various projects.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports and tender documentation.
  • Feasibility Studies: Conduct financial feasibility studies and value engineering.
  • Expert Advice: Provide expert advice on contractual matters and procurement strategies.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or a related field.

Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in Australia as a client-side Quantity Surveyor.
  • Project Experience: Proven experience in providing a full range of project services for major projects.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using CostX and Excel.
  • Accreditation: Corporate membership or candidates working towards accreditation with AIQS or RICS are preferred.
  • Communication: High-level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional client-facing and interpersonal skills.
