The Sydney International Convention, Exhibition and Entertainment Precinct Project (the “Project”) was a major project to redevelop the convention, exhibition and entertainment facilities at Darling Harbour, Sydney.

A new Convention Centre, with new Exhibition Halls and a new 8,000 seat red carpet Entertainment Theatre, upgraded retail and car parking facilities and public realm including an outdoor event space for 5,000 people.

MBM’s provided Project Director services to Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority and  Technical Advisory services to Infrastructure NSW (INSW) later in the project. The Project was procured under a full-service model approach which required the successful Project Company to provide both asset management and operator services. MBM undertook an assessment of each service to be provided under the scope of the Project to identify and evaluate whether the service should be included under the scope of asset management or operator services.
