HPC Property Investment Pty Ltd purchased the site at the corner of Business Park Road and Riding Boundary Road, in the Orbis Business Park, Ravenhall, circa February 2017 subject to subdivision from a residual land parcel and the Vendor to register the Plan of Subdivision, which is now completed.
Symbio Laboratories requires approximately 8,000m2 of future laboratory space for new chemistry and microbiological laboratories. Approximately 4,000m2 of laboratory space to be operationally fitted out at this time. The each of the laboratories will provide 2,000m2 of facility in this development phase with the balance laboratory areas provided as a ‘warm shell, for future expansion. It is anticipated that the building will be three levels including under croft parking and administrative areas.
The laboratories will require PC2 classification for the general laboratory areas and QC5.2 for nominated quarantine areas.
MBM completed quantity surveying services involving cost advice for turnkey procurement including early contractor involvement and guaranteed maximum price negotiation. MBM also completed construction phase including for ongoing cost advice, progress payment recommendations and variation assessments.
