MBM was recently engaged by an international real estate organisation to support the longevity and efficiency of industrial property assets in Taiwan. Through comprehensive building condition assessments, MBM provided a 10-year capital expenditure and maintenance forecast, offering valuable insights into the building’s remaining useful life.
As part of the engagement, MBM delivered a detailed technical due diligence report, structured by discipline, with a quality evaluation to identify potential risks. The team assessed the building’s structure, fabric, and finishes, including the roof, rainwater systems, elevations, facades, and internal and external areas. Additionally, they reviewed mechanical, electrical, fire, hydraulic, and vertical transportation services. Their assessment included a whole-building assessment, including manufacturing departments, roof plant, basement levels, office areas external site areas, ensuring all critical components of the property were evaluated.
