Health Infrastructure (HI) in collaboration with the New South Wales and Victorian governments are delivering a major new regional hospital and improved health services to meet the health needs of Albury, Wodonga, and border communities, now and into the future. As one of the largest regional health service hubs, the Albury Wodonga Regional Hospital project will service the Albury, Wodonga, and surrounding communities through a broader range of health services and enhanced facilities.

The project scope includes facilities refurbishments, campus upgrades, a new intensive care unit, and operating theatres, inpatient beds, additional car parking, modernised adult acute mental health inpatient unit, a relocation of maternity and newborn services, expanded outpatient and specialist treatment spaces. The additional services will offer significant advantages to diverse regional communities and provide staff with state-of-the-art resources.

Director and health sector expert, Stoyan Dimitrov, leads the MBM team with support from Executive Quantity Surveyor Charmaine Resos and Senior Quantity Surveyor Neville Pan. From the master planning phase and now into the concept design, the MBM team continues to provide quality cost management services to our client and stakeholders.

Director David Madden noted “The Albury Wodonga Regional Hospital project is essential to the region, and the redevelopment will support the wider community through an expanded portfolio of health services. The entire MBM team is excited to contribute to the project’s progress, and we look forward to the redevelopment’s completion.”

The Albury Wodonga Regional Hospital redevelopment is expected to be completed in 2027/28.
