  • Asset Condition Report to evaluate the current state of facilities and support future planning

Project Background and Scope

The Department of Employment, Small Business and Training (DESBT), in collaboration with the Department of Housing, Local Government, Planning and Public Works (QBuild), is undertaking a comprehensive asset and condition-based assessment of 41 TAFE campuses across Queensland. This initiative aims to establish a consistent and complete dataset for infrastructure and equipment assets to support strategic decision-making.

Project Challenges

A key challenge is working across 41 sites. The primary challenge lies in navigating the variability of asset types, conditions, and historical data quality across geographically dispersed locations, whilst delivering a unified, risk-informed dataset that supports long-term capital planning and operational decision-making.

MBM Solutions

Navigating the complexity of 41 geographically dispersed sites required a unified, risk-informed approach to asset intelligence. The variability in asset types, conditions, and historical data quality was mitigated through a centralised asset management platform. MBM were able to deliver a cohesive dataset that supported long-term capital planning and operational decision-making
