MBM has been engaged to provide Cost Management services across key stages of the Birling project.

Our involvement includes:

  • Assisting with cost planning on the precinct & childcare centre and shopping village
  • Meeting attendance and option pricing advices during masterplanning phase

Our aim is to help ensure the project is delivered on budget, in line with stakeholder expectations, and aligned with the broader vision for this key precinct in Western Sydney.

Project Background and Scope

The Birling Development is a large master-planned residential community located in Bringelly, NSW, just 8 km from the future Western Sydney International Airport and near the emerging Bradfield City Centre. The development is being delivered by the Cameron Brae Group and will play a major role in the growth of Sydney’s southwest corridor.

Once complete, Birling will include approximately 2,100 new homes across a mix of lot sizes and housing types. The community is designed with families in mind, offering local parks, sports fields, green open spaces, and essential community infrastructure. Sustainability is also a key focus, with the use of green-blue infrastructure to help manage heat and water while creating a more liveable environment.

Development works have already commenced, with Stages 1 and 2 underway. Planning approvals for Stages 3 to 5 (231 lots) have been submitted, with more stages to follow as part of the broader delivery program.
