MBM are providing the lead cost manager services for the New Schools 2025 Program. MBM’s role is to lead the cost planning and quantity surveying services for the principal design consultant teams and to provide cost and risks management advice to the client team.
Project Background and Scope
In response to the growing demand within Victoria, the Department of Education and Training has identified the need for new schools to be ready for opening for the commencement of the 2025 school year.
The New Schools 2025 program comprises the design and construction of 7 New Build Schools, 3 of which include connected Early Learning Centres.
Deferred projects comprised 4 New Schools and an Early Learning Centre ready for the 2026 school year.
3 of the new schools were Primary Supported Inclusion Schools (SIS).

The new schools are greenfield, new build schools comprising Learning neighbourhoods, Performing Arts and Physical Education buildings and Administration buildings, the schools also include extensive external works, landscaping and sports fields / ovals and pavements / courts etc.
