Daniel Kei is a Quantity Surveyor and Associate in MBM’s Brisbane office, bringing over 20 years’ experience as a construction cost consultant across Australia and Asia. He provides strategic cost planning and contractual advice across pre-contract and post-contract phases, helping clients manage risk and cost certainty from feasibility through to project completion.
Daniel specialises in hospitality, retail fitout, healthcare and commercial construction, working alongside multidisciplinary design and delivery teams on projects of varying scale and complexity. His project experience includes the Goldman Sachs Hong Kong headquarters and supporting offices fitout, Thomson Reuters Hong Kong headquarters and supporting offices fitout, Tiffany & Co. store fitout portfolio, Saint Laurent store fitout portfolio, Queensland Health’s Building Rural and Remote Program and the refurbishment of the Voco and Hotel Indigo hotels.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Construction Management & Economics from Curtin University of Technology, Perth. He is a Certified Quantity Surveyor (CQS) and a member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (MAIQS), the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), the Australian Institute of Building (MAIB), and the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB).
