St Anthony of Padua Catholic College, a kindergarten to year 12 private school, is soon completing a major redevelopment which will increase their teaching capacity to up to 2,280 students. The school’s infrastructure upgrades are taking place in partnership with Sydney Catholic Schools.

The program of works includes four new multi-level specialist and general learning buildings, new car parks, sports fields, sports courts, support buildings, and extensive landscaping, all to support the school’s growth. The MBM team is providing cost management services to the project and adding to the history of the building of the Austral-based St Anthony of Padua Catholic College.

The scope of the MBM team’s services includes cost planning, detailed cost reports, tender reviews, progress claim assessments, and variation assessments. Led by Founding Director David Madden and Director Selma Trepanic, the team is engaged to deliver cost management services across stages 3D, 4, 5, in addition to car parks and site infrastructure. MBM’s expertise on the project ranged from procurement, contract administration, commissioning & handover, and the defects liability period to ensure satisfactory client results.

Selma Trepanic, Director and education sector lead is delighted to be a member of the project team. She noted “Working with the team to deliver the new school has been a fantastic experience. The school’s new infrastructure will distinctly contribute to St Anthony of Padua’s delivery of high-quality education, benefiting all students and the wider community.

The St Anthony of Padua Catholic College redevelopment is expected to be completed by late 2024.
