MA Investment Management recently supported golf entertainment business, Swing Factory, on two milestone fitouts. The projects were undertaken at Morack Public Golf in Victoria and the redevelopment of Golf Paradise in Terrey Hills, New South Wales – a 58-bay facility with a more than 20-year legacy. Following the works, the Morack and Terrey Hills venues have been converted into world class family-friendly entertainment hubs for all local residents. The revitalised facilities also play important roles in the encouragement of community health, social culture, sports, and recreation.
MBM provided quantity surveying services including pre-funding reports, construction progress reports, progress claims, variation assessments and attended on-site meetings for both Morack and Terrey Hills. The MBM team’s scope of services covered 18-hole premium mini-golf facilities, driving ranges, a designated golf retail shop, multi-purpose event space and indoor amenities including commercial kitchens.
Director Paul Janes and Executive Quantity Surveyors Amalia Figueroa and Thomas Smith at MBM’s Sydney office led the delivery of cost management services across both projects. Paul noted, “We were delighted to work with Swing Factory on the site transformations across Victoria and New South Wales. Our team’s contributions supported the Swing Factory’s vision to offer vibrant, fully interactive, and technologically advanced entertainment facilities that can be enjoyed by all levels of golfers.”
Development Manager Will Cardwell at Swing Factory commented, “The MBM team have been an integral part of the process in the outcome of our Morack and Terrey Hills projects. MBM have worked collaboratively with our team to ensure both projects have continued on unimpeded. Through a volatile period in the industry, the flexibility and responsiveness of Amalia, Thomas, Sean and Paul remains greatly appreciated by Swing Factory.”
Morack Public Golf was completed at the end of 2023, while the Terrey Hills venue opened to the public in mid-2024.
