Waverley Council, in partnership with Bronte Surf Life Saving Club, is delivering a new modern and sustainable surf club and community facility. With over 1,900 members, the Club plays a vital role in lifesaving, training, equipment storage and first aid, but the existing building is no longer fit for purpose. The redevelopment will provide upgraded female and male facilities, family change rooms and accessible amenities, as well as improved lifeguard and lifesaving spaces with adequate storage and training areas. The project also includes upgrades to the adjoining promenade and facility block and rebuilding the seawall due to rise in sea levels.
