As a Building Services Engineer in MBM?’s Building Consultancy team, Nickshan supports clients?’ strategic asset management through his focus on risk mitigation and adaptability. His expertise spans project management, technical due diligence, capital works management, capital expense planning, condition audits and asset registers. Nickshan has significant expertise in the existing building space having provided building consultancy services in relation to refurbishment and retrofit projects, base building upgrades and change of use. As a project manager and design engineer, Nickshan has frequently managed multidisciplinary engineers, subconsultants, and contractors. Nickshan has a unique perspective by combining his project management, services design engineering, and consultancy expertise. Nickshan works to create value for his clients through risk mitigation of known and hidden elements to ensure assets are thoroughly and reliably evaluated. He brings an in-depth understanding of both project management and the overall design process to provide a holistic outcome. Nickshan is an alumnus of Heriot-Watt University Edinburgh with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (First Class Honours). He went on to complete a Master of Science in Building Services Engineering with Distinction. Nickshan contributes to the national engineering industry and furthers his professional expertise as a Member of Engineers Australia currently working towards his Chartered status.
