Carlingford West Public School and Cumberland High School are undergoing an extensive renovation and expansion as part of a milestone upgrade to support the local community. Led by School Infrastructure, the project is part of the NSW Government’s commitment to rebuild public education through educational infrastructure updates and expansions. Both schools are undertaking construction of new buildings and enhancements to existing educational facilities, with the Cumberland High School redevelopment catering to enrolment increases in the region with its refurbishment and upgrade.
MBM’s delivery of full cost management services will help to facilitate the upgrade and expansion of both schools. Carlingford West Public School is undertaking asset replacement works in the north-west area of the premises. Permanent educational facilities will be built, including learning areas, a library, resources, staff spaces, a canteen, a gym, a hall and a new versatile play court. Cumberland High School is being renovated and upgraded to the south-east of the grounds. New learning environments include adaptable classrooms designed for individualised learning, a library, operational facilities, staff resources, a hall, a canteen, sports amenities, and new all-purpose play courts.
The MBM team is collaborating closely with School Infrastructure and the wider project group to ensure the local community receives maximum benefits from state-of-the-art education upgrades. The modernised school facilities will promote innovative learning environments across both schools, while the Cumberland High School accommodates increased enrolment demand.
The full scope of services provided by MBM’s team includes:
