Global insurance provider, Allianz, is among the first large-scale corporations making the move to One Festival Tower – Adelaide’s premier all-electric commercial skyscraper. Situated within the CBD, Allianz has transformed floors 15 and 16 to uplift employee experiences through contemporary workplace design and hybrid ways of working. The relocation of Allianz’s South Australian headquarters will provide employees with modern spaces to support employee wellbeing, and encourage flexibility and collaboration.

Led by General Manager of MBM’s South Australia branch, Rob Williamson, with assistance from Founding Director David Madden and Executive Quantity Surveyor Ivy Chen, the team provided quantity surveying services from the concept phase through to the post construction handover. The scope of services included reviewing tender documentation and the project budget, optimised cost plans for the design fit, project variation assessments, completion forecasts, final cost assessments post-construction, and a complete reconciliation of the variations.

With excitement for the opening of Allianz’s new South Australian headquarters, Rob Williamson noted “The enhanced environment meets Allianz’s vision to uplift employee experiences and readies the company for future growth. As a 6-Green Star rated office in the heart of Adelaide, the impressive fitout will undoubtedly provide the Allianz team with a diversity of spaces and resources to thrive.”

“The MBM team is proud of our contributions to the project, and we look forward to the impending period of development in Adelaide indicated by the recent surge in large infrastructure projects.”

Allianz employees relocated to the sought-after location in April this year.
